Cheerleading

The Lancashire Tigers were formed in 2007 and are one of the biggest clubs at the University. Boasting an impressive track record of wins in BCA, Future Cheer and Legacy competitions, one of their most recent was becoming national champions at both BCA and Future Cheer for Level 3 co-ed stunt in 2023.

Hockey – Men’s

Compete in BUCS northern tier 3 and were Northern Conference Cup winners in 23-24. Some team members also play for Preston Hockey via coach links. No previous experience necessary, some sticks available.

Athletics

From Sprinting to Cross Country, Discus to Shot put, the University Athletics Club compete at BUCS National Indoors and Outdoors and additional competitions throughout the year. In 2025, the club proudly achieved their 1st silver medals in BUCS outdoors for individual athletes.
