Terms and conditions of membership

In these conditions:

• Application process: Members will be expected to sign up to the GladstoneGO mobile application to become a Member and use the University of Lancashire Sport Facilities, but can also be completed manually by an authorised University staff at the reception desk in the relevant Facility.
• Booking: A confirmed reservation of a University of Lancashire Sport Facility.
• Codes of Conduct: Rules displayed in or issued by the University with regards to the Facility relating to any matter which may be varied from time to time without notice.
• Conditions: These terms and conditions of Membership.
• Equipment: Any University-owned sports equipment, excluding personal items like rackets or balls.
• Facility: Any particular sports facility of the University of Lancashire Sport Facilities that can be used by Members.
• Fee: Charges applicable as per the current Membership Price List.
• Health Commitment Statement: the University’s Health Commitment Statement which must be agreed to as part of signing up for Membership as amended from time to time, a copy of which can be found on the University’s website.
• Membership: A membership account to be issued upon joining, required for access and booking.
• Membership App: the GladstoneGO mobile application.
• Membership Price List: the University’s official price list for all Memberships to access University of Lancashire Sport Facilities as amended from time to time, a copy of which can be found on the University’s website.
• University of Lancashire Sport Facilities: any sports facilities owned, operated or hired by the University from time to time including, without limitation: the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre, Sports Arena and the University’s Summergrove facility.
• Member: A registered user with a Membership account, including University students, staff, or alumni.
• University: University of Lancashire, Preston, PR1 2HE.
