2 competitive teams in BUCS. 1st team promoted, will play in Tier 1 for 25-26, 2nd in tier 7. Both have BUCS northern Conference Trophy and Cup fixtures.

Cheerleading

The Lancashire Tigers were formed in 2007 and are one of the biggest clubs at the University. Boasting an impressive track record of wins in BCA, Future Cheer and Legacy competitions, one of their most recent was becoming national champions at both BCA and Future Cheer for Level 3 co-ed stunt in 2023.

Baseball & Softball

Known informally as “The Pigeons”, the club was formed in 2021, and they are the only university Baseball and Softball Club in the northwest of England. Competing in Northern Tier 1, there will be 1 Baseball team, and 2 Softball teams entered for the 25-26 season. The softball teams play indoors and outdoors and for both sports, there is the opportunity to compete in the BUCS nationals at the National Baseball & Softball Centre at Farnham Park.
